Who is she ?

‘Fleurs de décembre’ doll is

Unique : Each doll is made with lots of love, passion and care. She preserves - I hope -a bit of my soul and heart which makes it unique !

Natural She is made out of soft and warm natural materials like wool and cotton.

Inspiring Thanks to their soft features and discreet expression , the child would easily imagine the personality of his doll according to his own inspiration and mood.

How is it created?

The doll is shaped entirely by hand.

The body is padded with washed and carded wool.

It is then covered with cotton jersey.

The eyes are marked with small mother of pearl buttons then they -as well as the mouth- are hand-embroidered with cotton thread.

The cheeks and parts of the body are gently colored with natural tinted beeswax

The choice of material

Watching, touching and soaking up colors and textures is a step that I particularly appreciate in the creation process. It is for this reason that I choose materials and supplies with care, opting as much as possible for ones natural.

However, the wool used for hair and clothing often contains a certain percentage of synthetic fiber

The thread I use for sewing may contain polyester

And some of the fabrics that I use for clothes like tulle or velvet are not natural. I think I’ve encapsulated it all now.
